My father passed away 9 months ago last Saturday. I still miss him deeply, but facing the world without him becomes easier as days go by. Or so I thought, until July 17, when a friend's father died. Today was extraordinarily eerie. It started with me finding a dead crow while crossing the street. It is not strange for us to find dead birds here, as there's an abandoned nest next to the high tension lines. Birds fall in its trap fairly frequently, but they usually are smaller ones. In other news, my nephew is sick. His throat hurts, but thankfully there's no fever. I'm unsure as if to take him to school tomorrow, as the final exams started today :|.

Five months ago, my father died. Four months ago I posted and entry mentioning it. I'm still responding to the nice words of those who commented. They were a source of comfort for me in those days, and they still are -- but I find it hard to answer to more than one a month. So, until I get to you, there's one thing I can do:
